All-on-4 Treatment Concept: What You Need to Know

Many people who are missing teeth have never heard of All-on-4 Treatment Concept. That is too bad because it is something that could make a big difference in their lives.

You might have heard of dental implants. All-on-4 Treatment Concept takes the ideas and the science that is behind implants and uses it to replace all of your teeth.

With All-on-4 Treatment Concept, we will add screws to your jaw. That is the same thing that is done with dental implants. Unlike traditional implants, in most cases, we will not need to start with a bone graft. Instead, we will add the screws where you have the most bone, and we will also angle them in the back. This will help your new teeth to be strong and to feel natural in your mouth.

Traditional dental implants need one screw for each new implant. With All-on-4 Treatment Concept, only four screws are needed. We will make sure that they are placed where they will hold your new teeth the best.

One thing to keep in mind, when we say that four screws are used, that means four screws on the bottom jaw or four screws on the top jaw. If we are replacing all of your teeth with All-on-4 Treatment Concept, we will use eight screws, not four.

After your initial surgery, we will fit you with temporary teeth so that you will be able to go home. It will take a while for the screws to set in your jaw. It could take several weeks or even months. We will monitor your progress along the way.

Once your jaw has healed, and the bone in your jaw has fused with the screws, we will give you your permanent teeth. These will be attached to the screws. You will have brand new permanent teeth.
